QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
ENROLLMENT.
Does this program replace the MetLife Auto & Home insurance program benefit currently available to certain groups of PepsiCo employees?
No, this is an expansion of the current benefit.
I’m currently enrolled in the MetLife Auto & Home program. Do I need to do anything differently now that the program is expanding?
No. There is no action required on your part. Your coverage will continue as is*.  However, you may want to take this opportunity to review your insurance rates as compared to the other two carriers that will now be available.
Do I have to wait for my policy to expire in order to participate in the program?
No. Call 800-504-1858 and have your current policy(ies) available. Compare your current premiums and coverages with those provided by the Auto & Home carriers. If you decide to switch from your insurance carrier, be sure to contact your current insurer or agent for the terms of a premium refund.
If I already use MetLife Auto & Home, Travelers, or Liberty Mutual for auto and/or home coverage, can I still get the employment discount?
Yes. Call 800-504-1858, choose your carrier on the voice response system and tell the customer service representative that you are a current policyholder of one of the listed carriers and a PepsiCo employee.
How do I get insurance quotes from all three companies?
Just call 800-504-1858 or click here to get the quotes. And, if you currently take part in The Auto & Home Insurance Program, you can continually review your insurance rates compared to other carriers.
Can I cancel my policy?
Yes. You can cancel your policy(ies) at any time. But, before you cancel, make sure you have adequate coverage.
When shopping for a new car or new home, can I get quotes to determine insurance costs before my purchase?
Yes. The insurance consultants will provide as many quotes as you need to determine the total cost of ownership of your car or home.

COVERAGE.
Do I have to buy both my auto and home policy(ies) from the same carrier?
No. You can buy your auto coverage with one carrier and your home coverage with another. However, all three carriers may offer multi-policy discounts. Please inquire when you call for your free quotes.
What other kinds of coverage will I be able to apply for?
In addition to auto and home coverage, you may also apply for other policies listed below:

  • Condo
  • Renters
  • Fire (Rental Property)
  • Boat
  • Motorcycle
  • Umbrella (excess Liability Policy)
  • Mobile Home
  • Motor Homes
  • Flood

Please note that availability of these policies will vary depending on the carrier and your location.

PAYMENT OPTIONS.
What are my premium payment options?
As an active employee, you can pay your premiums through electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your checking account, or through direct bill. In some cases, you may be eligible to pay through payroll deduction. Please check with the insurance consultant for details.

CHANGE IN EMPLOYMENT STATUS.
If I leave my company, what will happen to my coverage?
If you terminate/resign your employment, you can continue your coverage on a direct bill basis; however, you may lose the program discounts once you terminate employment.
If I retire, will my discounts continue?
If you retire, you can keep your discount and continue your premium payments through EFT, or direct bill.

CLAIMS.
What do I do if I have a claim?
Call 800-504-1858 and press the prompt for the carriers with which you have coverage. Each of these carriers has 24-hour/7 days a week claim service.

*Subject to policy terms and conditions.
